Pp Lepu

Pp Lepu


Pp_lepu was started in 1999 and consists in the systematic distortion of the printed letters on movies stickers. Its design process was based on burning, getting wet, drying, sanding, copying and scanning with low resolution until getting an exclusive group of digitizings without curved lines. For this reason, Pp_lepu has a hardcore rhythm in its 4 variations; each one thought as raw material for graphic design related with cyberpunk atmospheres.

In another sense, its idealized usefulness seen from an unreal point of view, reflects the underground side of an experimental typographic system whose objective is to magnify the utopian vision of documents done with semi-pixeled letters that express technology.
With this said, Pp_lepu 1, 2, 3 have 260 glyphs each and are ideal for logos, words, phrases located on covers, tags, cloths, wrapping, etc.

Pp_lepu dingbats has 26 illustrations useful for background and textures.

Pomarosa

Pomarosa


Pomarosa is a typographic family that consists of capital roman letters and twisted lower case letters set randomly. Each one of them is characterized by its multiple calibers and widths. Pomarosa was planned to accompany graphic works done with different techniques and materials such as hand made collages. The narrowness of its glyphs involve its audience with abstract imprecision. Its spirit was born between fabric snippets intervened with pencil and painting. Its three members work in group and also in words or phrases with a non-finished look. Regular Pomarosa and Standard Pomarosa have 260 glyphs each. Both of them simulate to have been done by a right-handed person that works with its left hand. Pomarosa dingbats has 26 illustrations useful for frames and textures.

DiaD was born on 2000 in order to design posters about second World War. The original idea was obtained by breaking, burning and getting wet a bunch of written copies with an old writing machine. Today, Diad is a small typographic system useful for bringing relevance to any content with a grunge look. Each and every detail passed through a strict experimentation process.

Its outrageous and unconventional spirit travels from high leveled corrosion, up to a delicate visual neglect. Diad 2 and 3 work for designing words. Diad 1 is ideal for long phrases and titles. Diad dingbats includes 26 illustrations about motocross. In total, adding Diad 1,2 and 3, it has around 260 glyphs. Diad will make your design shine providing different graphic atmospheres, optimizing time and work to its users. Diad is perfect for graphic design on contexts such as death metal, drum and bass, films, war and horror video games. It could work also for logos, words, titles and short texts in covers, tags, clothes, wraps, cards, stickers, toys, bicycles, surf boards, etc.

Slanted German magazine recently published an article of Denedo Thanks: Julia.

Just like the M.C. Escher impossible figures and optical illusions, “Denedo” is a font that is impossible to construct in three dimensions because it only exists as a drawing. This font is based on the “0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9” characters of one of the alphabets published by Nedo Mion Ferrario in the “Letromaquia” exhibition that was shown in Caracas, Venezuela in the 70’s.

The reason why I chose to restore and complete this font is that unique and exceptional personality that each word acquires when it is written with this alphabet.

Denedo is a typographic family in three styles: Denedo 1A, 1B and 1C. When mixing them in big sizes you will emphasize the balance and incongruity of its shapes, providing originality and a unique identity to every word. All of the 3 variations include a complete character set with the lower and upper case letters, numbers, accents, diacritic signs, punctuation and monetary signs.

All the fonts included in this family are available in Open Type format and are perfectly compatible with Mac and PC.
