Bengala is a font based on Calligraphy & Geometry designed by Carlos Fabián Camargo. Its purpose is to be an innovative typographic system combining Script letters with geometric and hard Caps letters. The contradictory styles are ideal for designing covers, posters, branding and packaging. Its smooth calligraphic look meticulously incorporates characters to design logos and phrases that communicate dynamism and strategy.
Pp_lepu was started in 1999 and consists in the systematic distortion of the printed letters on movies stickers. Its design process was based on burning, getting wet, drying, sanding, copying and scanning with low resolution until getting an exclusive group of digitizings without curved lines. For this reason, Pp_lepu has a hardcore rhythm in its 4 variations; each one thought as raw material for graphic design related with cyberpunk atmospheres.
Denedo. Just like the M.C. Escher impossible figures and optical illusions, “Denedo” is a font that is impossible to construct in three dimensions because it only exists as a drawing. This font is based on the “0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9” characters of one of the alphabets published by Nedo Mion Ferrario in the “Letromaquia” exhibition that was shown in Caracas, Venezuela in the 70’s.
